I love that you put Jane Lynch in your commercials. (Yes, I am crediting you with that feat.)

That is funny and sad all at the same time. Hope you have a good holiday and don't feeling like actually striking the customers. That's what puppies are for.

Hi Kyna,

Reading books on a kindle/ipad suck ass. Get yourself a book.

Smell it, caress its pages... heck wipe your bum on it; it's a much more exciting experience! :D

Well, my anonymous friend, Jane and I are pretty close homies. She did it as a favour to me ;)

Cal: Why would I kick puppies when there's such a large supply of children close at hand?

Liz: Chuckles bought me a new Nook Tablet that he's making me wait patiently until Christmas for. I don't think I'll be using so much for the book aspect as the internet browser aspect.

We don't have smartphones or a laptop, so this way we don't have to fight over the one computer as much.

Plus I can upload as much slash fanfiction and pictures of shirtless guys as my little heart desires without Chuckles complaining. Because it'll be mine, all mine, MUHAHAHAHA!

Hi Kyna,

Lol, we don't have nooks over here clearly such amazing technology has not yet crossed the pond ;)

So, what exactly is different about it?

I find reading books on the ipad suck. So I continue to buy books (and clutter the house!!) but tablets are handy if you're going on holiday or sick in bed.

And of course it's great if you wish to download naughty images and don't want dearest beloved to know!
You could lead a whole underground life on your nook... Just imagine the possibilities :D

Choosing the children over the puppies is the reason I like you.

Liz: Yeah, I heard that there are only Kindles over there. Nook has just gotten better reviews than Kindle has. It's faster and there's less limits to what the normal person can download onto it, content-wise. The Nook Tablet also has twice the memory of a Kindle Fire.

We have an e-ink e-reader called the Simple Touch(I like to call it the Bad Touch lol) that's awesome if you just want it to read books, because it looks just like a real page even in bright sunlight. It's super light and the battery life on it is two months with wifi off.

But like you, I really enjoy having an actual book in my hand. Hence the decision to get a Tablet. The 'easy for travel' portability factor is also a nice perk. Most hotels have free wifi, and I'll be able to post while I'm on holiday now. Awesome!

Hell, I just want to be able to put up wallpaper on it. Chuck isn't happy when I wallpaper the desktop on this computer, he thinks it runs slower (I think that's a myth) but I think it's more that he doesn't enjoy seeing pictures of men I'm in lust with everytime he takes the comp off of sleep mode.

Cal: Oh, there are just so MANY reasons to like me! ;D

I could put all my comic books on one of those fancy gizmos right? And read them on the tablet? Hmmmm.

Nook must be american? I'm a Kobo girl myself (can't believe I'm saying that when I swore I would never ever ever own an e-book in my life)
