You Can Lick 'Em, But They Won't Get You High

Toad lilies.

They only put out every fall, but it's worth all the expensive dinners and gifts I have to buy them.

Oh yeah, baby, come to mama.....don't be shy.

And leave the lights on.

Pretty Kyna. I notice you have Boy George in the 'you might also like'. I loved Boy George and miss hearing his music. Haven't thought of him in a long time. Now I want to listen to his music.

Looks like the wedding was fun and what a sweet gesture to have the seats for those who have passed on.

I just loved the 80's in general. My friend Karen is turning 40 this year, and I wish I could be up in Canada to attend her 80's themed birthday party.

I could totally rock a wicked Flock of Seagulls 'do.

The wedding was awesome! Love my new 40-year-old son-in-law lol.

Hi Kyna,

Maybe that's where I've been going wrong then...

They just won't grow for me anymore. I used to have a plant that did very well, then one year it stopped. We moved house so I tried planting it in the hope it was upset in a pot. Never came back.
So I planted a few tuber/corms/whateverthey'recalled and two began to pop up... Then nothing.

:_(

I fear they don't like me anymore. maybe it was a cheap crappy perfume I tried to pass off as designer luxury.

Those toad lilies are absolutely gorgeous. I'd love to have some of my own.

One of my favorite Pandora stations is 80's Pop. I get really nostalgic when I listen to it though. And then I get sullen and frustrated that times have changed so much and the next thing I know I’ve spent the whole weekend watching John Hughes films.

Still I like the orchids I posted earlier in the week!

Love those little spotted blooms. This was the first year that I had grown them and I just loved them.

I had one of these last year, but it froze over the winter :-(
