"...And It Was All Yellow"

The daffodils finally bloomed out today! A whole bunch of them at once, which doesn't usually happen. I think they're all just happy that the snow's gone like an irritating houseguest :D

Big difference from two days ago!

Wow - I'm amazed! I remember looking at the image of those snow encrusted daffys a couple of days ago and thinking they might be done for! Shows you what I know about tough little daffodils :)

Woohoo! We've got some too - all clustered around the front porch, while everywhere else there's barely a flower stalk. But I'm not complaining.

Gippy: I thought the same thing lol. They are a little smaller with the bloom-size this year though.

CF: Aren't they cheery? :D I just wish it was a little warmer so that I could be outside longer and enjoy them...

It is an amazing change from snow to bright yellow. I guess the plant has a cycle and doesn't care if it is warm on top or cold it just knows to bloom.

Amazing! They don't look the least disturbed by their snow-bath. :) (Gives me hope for the ones around here.)

Very nice to see some color in the garden I bet. I happened upon a buttercup and a couple crocus today on my walk...Yea for spring!

It is hard to believe that only 48 hours passed between the two photos. Your daffodils look like miniature suns brightening up the garden.

Thank you everyone for your comments :D I do get so much enjoyment out of those daffodils, I'm glad the weather hasn't spoiled them, save for them being a little less perky looking this year lol.
